Shiba News Bites

Overloaded with Applications!
Update on Applications 4-19-11:

If you submitted an application 1-2 weeks prior to this date, we are playing catch up with a lot of emails. As we have had a lot of questions and updates from our recent adopters. Please bare with us as we get to your applications.  Please give us at least 1-week to review your application.  Once your application has been reviewed we ask that volunteers step up to do your home visit. Then a home-visit volunteer will contact you!! This may take 1-2 weeks to be contacted.  If you want to know if we got your application, please send us a short email with your questions.  Thank you very much for being so understanding!

Please remember, SIRA is a small rescue with limited volunteers.  Anyone not within 1-2 hours of CHICAGO will most likely have to wait more than 2 weeks for a home visit.  We have to reach out to other rescues to do a home visit if we don't have volunteers.  Thank you very much for your recent application.

SIRA on the News!

Shiba Inu Rescue Association and Chicago Area Shiba Inu Meetup were featured on WCIU's "You and Me This Morning" on January 12th, 2010!  You can view the entire segment on their website here.
